Working for the Wildlife of Buckinghamshire.

Absolute Networks Limited provide a service which promise that old IT equipment is reused or disposed of responsibly for the benefit of the environment. Businesses donate old electrical equipment so that it can be reconditioned and resold, any proceeds will be donated to the wildlife trust, if the electrical equipment is unable to be reused then the equipment will be responsibly recycled.

A different Road to Brand Experience

On Thursday 27th September, TNT Post sponsored the DMA North event ‘A different road to brand experience’ at The Studio in Manchester. We were welcomed to the event by Nick Wells, CEO of TNT Post, who gave an update on Direct Marketing and door drop and the trends we are currently seeing with multi channel marketing on the rise.  Nick also updated us on how the TNT postmen were doing, letting us know that they will be introduced to other cities shortly including Manchester.

We're working with companies who go the extra mile.

When we required a recruitment drive for our North East region we found a recruitment agency with added value. The recruitment agency, Resonate were chosen as they reinvest some of the commission generated from recruitment into a charitable organisation of their customer’s choice. TNT Post made the donation to Paperwork’s, a company who provide work and support to adults with learning, physical and mental health related disabilities. The donation will contribute to purchasing adjustable work benches for the staff.

TNT Post's Cycle Proficiency

As a new addition to the team at TNT Post I have had the opportunity to experience our new End-to-End delivery service. I travelled to Shepherd’s Bush to spend the day with our posties.

Shepherd's Bush opened April 18th and can process up to 24 000 items a day. Shepherd’s Bush is part of our West London group of delivery units which deliver to 250,000 households and employ over 400 postmen, 50 % of which are between 18-24 and have been employed through the governments young persons works program.

PRO-CURE secures NHS savings with TNT Post

PRO-CURE, the main NHS provider of commercial services across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Hampshire, has signed a two-year contract with TNT Post, which will make postal savings at a time of escalating prices. The contract covers PRO-CURE and its two partners in the NHS Commercial Alliance: NHS Commercial Solutions and the East of England Collaborative Procurement Hub.  The partnership with more than 70 member NHS trusts seeks to maximise its purchasing power securing better value across a range of categories. It secured a two-day delivery service with TNT Post with forecast savings of more than £300k.

Getting in the Olympic spirit

Getting in the Olympic spirit TNT Post put together a unique Olympic programme which 50 TNT Post Olympiads participated in throughout the week raising funds for the world food programme. Support was shown by the whole TNT Post team throughout. Events included cracker eating, ping pong shot put, paper plate discus and marshmallow eating! As our Olympic event approached the final day, three teams all had an equal opportunity for the gold medal.
