Where necessary we will also tell you how to check your existing version so you can be sure you’re using the most up-to-date release.

Please note: This software is for TNT Post Customers who are producing Mailings for handover on or after the 22nd October 2012.
This update contains the DSA Mailsort database 2012 release 4.
How to install
- 1. Download file
- 2. Unzip the Zip to a local folder
- 3. Run the setup.exe and install
Note: Do not run the setup without unzipping the files first as the install will fail to complete properly.
How to check your current version of TNT Sort
- 1. Open the TNT Sort application
- 2. From the 'Help' menu click 'About'
- 3. Scroll to see if the Mailsort database says 'HPWDSMS0.DAT Version Database 2012 Release 4 (21/09/2012) and ‘SSCDEPOT.DAT is Version 2 (03/10/2012)
If the Mailsort Database version or SSCDEPOT.dat version is anything but this version then you will need to perform an update.

May 2013 release note: it is now a mandatory requirement that all pre-sorted files are presented with the zonal fields populated. This is to avoid potential surcharges that may be imposed by Royal Mail if information on overall mailing profile is not provided.
