Data

The following are required of all data-sets used on adMail items:

  • A documented procedure must be in place and used to suppress customer and prospect data against consumer and business files (e.g. Mailing Preference Service, MPS).
Each address list for adMail postings shall be run against these files 30 days or less before the posting is prepared.
  • An internal suppression file must be kept and maintained to ensure opt-outs are properly logged, and each campaign must be run against these files 30 days or less before the posting is prepared

Indicia

Indicia's on all adMail items should apply an "A9" prefix in place of the default "C9". This allows Royal Mail to verify the item is running on adMail and meets the relevant specifications.
