TNT Mail and Circular Distributors today announced their re-brand to TNT Post, a move that will bring the two companies together to reinforce their strengths in the UK postal market for both addressed and unaddressed items. Both companies have industry leading reputations for providing innovative, sophisticated mailing services that brings unrivalled value to clients, and together as TNT Post it creates a formidable UK postal operator.

As one company, TNT Post bolsters its position in the UK as the leading challenger to the Royal Mail and as the only other company in the UK that has the resources and capabilities to deliver both addressed and unaddressed items. TNT Post is confident that the re-brand will help to increase the current strong client base that is enjoyed by both its addressed and unaddressed mail businesses. In competitive situations, TNT Post is consistently chosen as the preferred supplier across the board. By uniting the two strands of the business behind a single brand name it creates a difference that will be translated by customers into tangible, perceivable benefits - and loyalty.

Since the liberalisation of the UK postal market on 1st January 2006, TNT Post has been a principal advocator of ensuring that there is a fair and level playing field so that competition is effective and can be enjoyed by everyone. Despite still having to face numerous barriers to fair competition in the UK postal market, TNT Post has in a short period of time impressed businesses in the UK and notched up some significant wins including in recent months HBOS and Telewest. TNT Post's doordrop business with over 54 years of brand strength continues to be the supplier of choice time and again for some of the UK's biggest brands and doordrop users such as Ikea, Unilever and Wickes.

Circular Distributors has been part of TNT (formerly TPG) for 5 years, and this re-brand will ensure that the business fully benefits from its association with the strong TNT brand. TNT is World famous for its expertise in the postal industry, with over 200 years experience, and is widely recognised as the most efficient postal operator in the world.

The visual aspect of the re-brand absorbs the vision, values and positioning of TNT Post and allows us to create differentiation through use of distinctly different imagery, photography, tone and attitude.
