TNT Post launches next day business mail delivery service in Scotland
London, 16th March 2010:TNT Post has introduced a next day delivery service called FirstSort, which is a physical alternative to the first class service offered by Royal Mail. The new service enables clients to benefit from an alternative efficient and flexible next day service when sending mail.
Through FirstSort, customers will be able to use the next day service regionally. The service will see a phased implementation across the UK, starting with Scotland ahead of a national expansion later this year. Currently the service is being used by a number of clients including hospitals and accountancy firms.
The addition of FirstSort comes in a long line of innovations from TNT Post. Recent additions to the postal solutions portfolio include the hybrid mail service - TNT-it and greenPost, an effective and environmentally-friendly mail service. In the direct mail sector, dataMatters and adscents are two of the latest products from TNT Post.
FirstSort plays to TNT Post's strength in advanced mail sortation where mail is automatically processed by postcode into the relevant delivery day. The newly-designed FirstSort indicia is printed onto envelopes during this process, allowing customers to save time and money by handing over the franking process entirely to TNT Post.
